- Further to the European Commission proposal for a regulation on the citizens’ initiative (ECI), the FORUM has drafted an inventory, dated July 31, 2010, of the various opinions relating to the establishment of the European Citizens’ Initiative under Article 11, paragraph 4, of the Treaty on European Union.

-  The attached document (in French) summarizes the conclusions of the Forum, dated May 13, 2010, on the theme of COLLECTIVE ASSETS & RIGHTS. We now wish to present it as a "working document" circulated as widely as possible for organizations of civil society in Europe, until September 30, 2010. Feel free to send us your comments! - The FORUM met in Brussels on April 25, 2010. Faithful to the spirit of the Schuman Declaration of 9 May 1950 which gave birth to the European Union, the Forum wanted to learn from the current EU situation characterized by a deep crisis, both financial, economic, social and therefore political.

The participants were eager to give substance to the desire expressed by Member States to "continue the process of creating an ever closer Union among the peoples of Europe." To do this, they believe ……continuation.
